I'm your Labour and Co-Operative County Councillor for St Ives South and Needingworth. I was also recently elected as your District Councillor for St Ives South in May 2026.

What Alex has been up to:

Recently, Alex has been involved in a number of community events and county debates, and has been present and proactive in the local community. Some of her recent work has focused on:

Promoting a co-operative model for use at the Cambridgeshire County Council
Campaigning for the continuation of meal vouchers during the holidays for low-income households
Holding her monthly surgeries in both St Ives and Needingworth (see more details below)
Speaking on a panel at Huntingdon Town Council’s 3rd Annual International Women’s Day talk
Speaking at consultations on A414 work, and campaigning for an evening session to make it more inclusive
Securing over £200,000 + for the resurfacing of Needingworth Road!
Plus, securing £80,000 for road patchwork repairs in St Ives Town
Speaking on Local Government Reorganisation
