I’ve been a member of the Labour Party since 2016.  I joined because I want a better future for my grandchildren and their children and grandchildren.

There is so much to do to turn around the negative effects of so many years of austerity and narrow-minded thinking.  Only the Labour Party is offering a full range of policies to address the complex mix of issues we face today.  It’s not about choosing one little option.  We have to address the whole package of how we want to live – as our previous Chair Dr Nik said, “with compassion and cooperation, for community”.  Not just for ourselves.  As Covid has taught us, we are social animals.  We need our families and our friends and neighbours to be OK too.   That’s what I believe.  Its why I joined the Labour Party and its why I’m still in it.
