Sam is a Councillor for Huntingdon North on Huntingdonshire District Council.

Sam is a trade union official covering the East of England, and has negotiated with government and employers over better and safer conditions for workers. As an elected councillor of Cambridge University he fought to improve access for disadvantaged students, and protected bursaries to help them with living costs. He currently works to support our superb NHS staff. He is passionate about making it easier for people of all backgrounds to access the public services they need and are entitled to. And Sam’s union background brings a wealth of experience in offering advice, negotiating and representing people. He would relish the opportunity to provide support and speak up for your interests at our district council. Sam and his newly growing family live in Huntingdon town centre.
